A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that feature. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.

When you email us, we retain the message as needed to answer it. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Monroe County material remains with official custodians such as the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Monroe County Clerk of Courts, Wisconsin DOJ Crime Information Bureau, and Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Outside companies operate the search boxes on this site. A partner's own privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices apply to information submitted through its tool. We do not control those practices. Read the provider's policy before sending a query.

Links may lead to the Monroe County Sheriff, Wisconsin court portals, state agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once you leave this site, the destination's policy controls its collection and use of data. Review that policy before providing personal information.
Some advertising companies may use their own systems to follow activity across sites and select targeted ads.
